One talented landscape contractor will win a new L218 skid steer loader at the 2011 GIE+EXPO show in October. New Holland Construction is sponsoring the Extreme Dream 2011 contest, a nationwide search for the best landscape design/build project of the year.

“Every extreme landscape design/build project starts with a dream,” said Dave December, marketing manager at New Holland Construction. “If you’re a contractor who has made your customer’s dream come true on a landscape project, you could win an extreme dream of your own – a brand new skid steer loader from New Holland.”

“New Holland has focused on the landscaping industry ever since we introduced our first skid steer loader in 1972,” December said. “The Extreme Dream 2011 contest illustrates our commitment to the hard-working landscape contractors in the field every day. The lift-and-carry capability of our skid steer loaders and compact track loaders is a great asset to any company’s design and build operation.”

To participate in the contest, landscape contractors must register online at www.lawnsite.com/extremedream2011. Contestants are required to provide a detailed summary – 300 words or less – describing their biggest, best and/or most challenging landscape project, along with at least four high-resolution photos that show the project from start to finish.

From March through September, the editors of Turf magazine and the moderators of LawnSite.com will select entries to be voted on by members of LawnSite. One monthly winner will be selected based on the most votes received by members of LawnSite. Each of these six monthly winners will receive a $100 gift card to use at their preferred New Holland dealer.

In April, July and October, the editors of Turf magazine and the moderators of LawnSite.com will select three semi-finalists, who will each receive $500 in travel expenses to attend the 2011 GIE+EXPO show in October in Louisville, Kentucky. During the show, one grand prize winner will be selected. The grand prize winner will receive a new L218 skid steer loader, worth more than $35,000. All three semi-finalists must be present at GIE+EXPO to be eligible to win.
